best thing to do is just forget it even exists, I don't even care anymore and I cared less a couple years ago when I first saw the tantilising screenshots.
I don't understand why it's taking so long, and I doubt it will ever live up to the hype - but fair enough I'll 'wait'

I like how a couple of days ago George Brussard posted a message asking for the users input on what they should make interactive in the world and how to implement physics according to ideas from the fans.
Hey George, you fat fuckboat, you've been working on your piece of shit fps for close to 9 years now, you should've been in feature lock at least 5 years ago. Why don't you just come out of the proverbial closet and admit that you've spent the last decade playing foosball and eating your ass off while posting messages on your stupid ass forum about how DNF is going to be greatest game of '99 and how we all should shut up when you ask for user input 8 years after the project was first announced. Any competent developer, or even half-competent for that matter, would've finished the game half a decade ago and moved on to better things, but not you, oh no, you keep feeding your retarted fanboys a bunch of horse shit about how DNF is going to rock the gaming world come christmas 2004\2005\2006. Dumbass.

Who cares about this game anyway, been there done that. There are better releases the coming three/four months, no one will remember duke nukem forever after that.

i'd really like to think its an elaborate hoax, calling it duke nukem forever would be a great piss-take!
sadly i think they have just made a complete mess of it and keep starting again, getting further and further behind whilst trying to release it with the top technology. scary to think how much money has gone into this if they have been developing for close to a decade.

read up on the game and you ll notice that they are as recent as ut2004 when it comes to the engine, with heavy modifications in physics and other assorted stuff, so i doubt they ll be behind when its done... |
