hmm Dunno why that occured :S
anyway im looking forward when a protable console can take on a MMO and deliver some addicting gameplay, though I wonder which console goes MMO first.... DS or PSP?

DS will i reckon and i think it might be quite entertaining playing online with others, with the mic and wireless it will be perfect for journies and wasting time.

There has been a rumor around for a couple of monthes allready that a full scale MMO game for the DS has been in development. Plus, animal crossing DS is MMO-ISH, although I dont know if its full scale MMO.
The DS is all around better for RPG's though. Just because of the fact that it has the touch screen, it makes things so much easier. Not to mention the PSP has only 5 hours of battery life with minimal things going, I dont want to imagine how short that would be while the WIFI was being used.

touche.
Though keep in mind the PSP's battery life depends on the game Ridge Race last 4 hours on full load (Wi-Fi & Brightness level high) Other games last roughly in 6 hours. Though If I should play a MMO more then 6 hours in a row it would be probably at home with a wireless router.
And well can always buy an extra battery pack |
The dude in charge of nintendo when he just gave his speech at GDC said the connection service that would be used with the DS would be COMPLETELY FREE, not just said it, but it was also worded out on a powerpoint display.
Also, as for the PSP battery life, If you put the thing with backlight on and use headphones for the audio, you get around 5 hours with your normal game. DS gets upwards of 10 hours with both the backlights on, and a medium volume level for its built in speakers. The DS is much much much more portable. The one thing that makes me laugh about the PSP is the battery life when watching one of its UMD movies. With backlight on, and using headphones, you get around 2.5 hours. lol. By the time the ending finale for your movie comes, your PSP will be out of juice.
Also, its not how long your playing the game straight, but im sorry, if I only have 5 hours in total before having to re-charge the unit, thats pretty bad.

i should hope it was free too :/
edit: yea the battery life sucks but it depends on how long it takes to recharge. and if yo can charge and play at the same time.... instead of it charging 5% a minute it charges 4% etc. Still i charge my mobile and Mp3 player up when im i bed and i doubt i would play a PSP for 5 hours every day anyway.
