It's a very old clip, and it's not something they can use against 'him' in court so I don't understand - especially as he doesn't explicitlly say 'steal this movie'.
I'm sure like many 'artists' (debatable) he is not fussed about legitimate sharing.
I'll buy the DVD if I like the film and/or it has extras worth the price.
i don't belive this post, surely lions gate films and miramax are the ones who can say whether or not it;s ok to d/l it. seeing as they are the financers and distributors, also the ones who lose money by people d/l their films.
Moore says he has no problems with file sharing, but it's not the directors who go after file traders.. It is the distributers like lions gate and the MPAA.
It is real that moore said that, I have the video clip from when he did say that. I think it's cool of him promoting sharing of his movies, but it's not his movie. He doesn't own the rights to it anymore.
It's not okay to trade this movie no matter what moore says as he doesn't have his own distribution company.
I will laugh if someone gets caught from downloading from that torrent.
