No, I was like this with AW and in the end I really REALLY liked it.
But of course this won't be released in the PC any time in the near future, come on...

They've burned us twice now, they don't deserve our money. At all. Keep this shit on Yankbox One, because I'm certainly not paying for it two years down the line like with Alan Wake.

i dont even get all the hype about alan wake, it had good graphics and some atmosphere, but nothing special overall. max payne had good writing for a game and good gameplay, alan wake has neither of these. for a story-oriented game where the main protagonist is a writer, the dialogue in the game was barely better than a soap.
as for the gameplay, fighting the same enemy over and over using the same tactics isnt what i call variety.
it is a very shallow game compared to a great classic like max payne 1, i only enjoyed it for its graphics and atmosphere.

Some of us believe that Wake was not a good writer. His success was "written" into the world just like (maybe) his existence.
So it can be justified.

It's like opening a Dota 2 thread on the console section because hey other Valve games made it on consoles maybe this will do too!

Personally, I loved Alan Wake. I loved every minute of it and I loved every facet of it. That still doesn't excuse what Remedy did then.. or are doing now.
