Downloading stuff from iTunes store is unfamiliar terriotory and quite annoying. Only had to enter my password twice and agree to apple terms twice. Will check this game out as I enjoyed it in the 90's. thanks

However if needs latest iOS update... So if you don't want to lose your jb... Download into iTunes and then play it when you upgrade your jailbreak.
Game is fun. Controls are good. Another good port. First crazy taxi and now this, I really wich they'd do more classic ports with decent touch controls.

Actually.. I just wasn't paying attention. I did a search for "carmageddon" in the AppStore and blindly downloaded the first title.. which turned out to be some pile of shit called "Armageddon Racing", which controls from a bullshit useless angle.
I have downloaded the correct app now. You'd figure Carmageddon would be the first result when searching for "Carmageddon" ...
Android version is very good version of carmageddon overall ! Control scheme is best of any racing games for touch screens. And it is really faithfull to original.
I would only wish there was option to turn of texture filtering because I like those old games pixelated but that is only a small complaint

I loved this game on my PC back in the day but I think its so dull and boring now Ive played it on IOS. I did only play it on iPhone and maybe that put me off so Im going to download it again and try it on the iPad
