So my cool laptop is sporting an 5650m ati card. And its supposedly powerful enough to run some games as well.. problem is.. all ati mobility drivers have dxva bugged since version 11.11 which is .. what? 1.5 years old? so ~50 drivers later (counting the betas too but heck.. who's counting anymore?) and they still didnt fixed it !!! Another problem is.. they disabled overclocking for mobility cards aprox one year ago probably because they thought mobility users shouldnt overclock anyway.. but wait.. some vendors underclock the gpu for the sake of longevity .. well.. fuck those vendors.. right. Ok.. no biggy .. i'll just uninstall the new drivers, restart, install 11.11 back and restart again. mm load has stopped working. catalyst control center has stopped working. oh.. i know why! its probably because the catalyst uninstaller didnt remove all ati stuff.. i'll just take my time and uninstall the driver again, delete all the folders and hunt for leftovers in the registry after another installation.. mm loader has stopped working. wtf is mm loader ?! FUCK. ok i know.. i'll just use.. for the first time in my life.. a registry cleaner! lets see what that does. So again, uninstall, delete folders, manually delete registry leftovers and use a registry cleaner! Restart, reinstall, restart. Good job registry cleaner now half my programs just stopped working. MM loader too. Next step.. formatting C:..
I have one laptop with 5650m, need to use ancient drivers on it since Toshiba wont even allow newer WHQL drivers for it Only drivers approved by Toshiba will work, and they are not updating them -.-

5 hours later result: reinstalling windows on my laptop while staring endless at inkscape, scribus and other dependencies being compiled on my dekstop
already sleepy and i've done nothing.. another day wasted
