looks great, cant wait!
As dodger pointed out, the constant internet connection is necessary. The sims are real humans that are connected via tubes and gizmos to get their consciousness beamed directly into our game.

Haha almost, I don't have the game installed here on the laptop so I had to dig up a youtube video and use that instead.  Still, more than enough to show the revolutionary concept behind the game! |

Sims 1 and Sims 2 are legendary, Sims 3 brings some great gameplay advancements but unfortunately succumbs to Maxis/EA vile greed and is a DLC fuckfest. I expect worse for Sims 4
