Monaco: What's Yours is Mine is a downloadable stealth action video game developed by Pocketwatch Games and published by Majesco Entertainment. The game provides a top-down view as players cooperate to perform a heist using a variety of specialized thief characters. Monaco won two awards at the 2010 GDC Independent Games Festival Awards: the Seumas McNally Grand Prize and the Excellence In Design award. The game was exhibited at Penny Arcade Expo 2010 by its designer, Andy Schatz

Couple of reviews:

http://www.destructoid.com/review-monaco-what-s-yours-is-mine-252073.phtml

The game is rather simplistic in terms of pure mechanics but also rewarding. The music is pretty great.

This does have a lan mode... however it's not functional just yet due to a bug which crashes the game.
The devs know about it and are working on a patch for this and probably other issues.
There is a way to play online though using a steamworks crack over at the usual russian forums if anyone wants to try the coop.

I wondered too, why this game didn't have a thread. Just yesterday I discovered it's already on Steam, looks fun and has a lot of positive reviews, but I doubt I'd have fun with it alone Sad

I believe the single player is just more challenging since you can’t be revived and can't be helped by anyone. However, when you get killed, you can always pick a different character and jump right back at the same spot.

Bump for this great game.

This game is really fun both sp and mp. I prefer mp for the chaos as other players mistakes can affect you as well and also you have to revive dead players which can be really tricky if the spot they died is heavily guarded.

I recommend everyone to buy it, if not now then when it's on sale

Out Now

Quote:
Our HUGE FREE UPDATE went out this morning, which includes the Linux port, a whole new Mini-Campaign, and the incredibly fun Zombie Mode!

Linux
The Linux port is, well, just that. Play on Linux! Yes, this means we will eventually make sure the game is playable on the Steam Box.

Monaco Origins
The Mini-Campaign is called Monaco Origins, and it tells the backstories of our eight naughty thieves. Each mission includes new features, such as key-doors, trophies, keys and cash that can be carried by NPCs, RPG Guards, and the new player class, the Blonde!

Zonaco: Your Flesh Is Mine
Zombie mode converts the entire original game into a zombie wasteland, with Bloaters and Wretches hungry for your CERVEAU...

Today, on April 3rd, 2014, we’re turning the last page of Monaco by releasing a free update containing the 4th and final campaign of the game. This campaign is brutally difficult (all eight levels are as hard as Identity) and it concludes the story of the Gentleman and his nefarious crew. It’s called Monaco: Fin.

I love when indie devs put out huge content packs for their games and don't succumb to the, frankly understandable, path of charging for them Very Happy
