I was 11 when I saw Under Siege for the first time, and I remember rewinding that scene many times Very Happy

On topic: maybe not very horror, but The Storyteller always had very eery episodes and atmosphere in general, even though it's supposed to be for children. Always dealing with death and misery in one way or another. Plus it has that 80s vibe going.

heard about this, looks kind of dumb to me. Like they are trying to be american horror story, but not quite. Anyways, if it is good, let us know and I'll check it out.

Tetsuo 1+2+3 (actually, anything by Tsukamoto deserves to be watched, because the man is a goddamn genius). Expect to be disturbed, scared shitless and extremely satisfied at the end. The first one in particular is bloody amazing.

If you want something even more extreme, there's the Guinea Pig series. It shows how much batshit insane the japs can get with horror movies - be careful, though, because they're really disturbing and get into the "what has been seen cannot be unseen" territory pretty fast.

Yep, not as good as the first one (obviously), but still a very good movie. A must if you like the Tsukamoto style.

I still remember when I saw the 1st one on TV (thanks to good ol' Enrico Ghezzi). I was expecting yet another horror movie - after 20 mins I was so disturbed I had to stop watching it Laughing

Needless to say, I watched it again later and utterly loved it Very Happy
