recently, there was a major breakthrough when talking about Emulation DS(NDS4droid) and PPSSPP(PSP emulator for Android and iOS), after the recent updates, most of the DS games I tried to with nds4droid on my GXS3 ,are now pretty much playble(using frameskip a bit) with around half to 90% speed, there is still some major issus, like touch with some games and games like GTA:CTW still too slow, but games like Geometry Wars,Zelda's and Mario are now playble,at almost full speed.
on the PSP side, games like Prinny and Disgaea are fully palyble with full speed but no sound ,also,Flow seems to work,a bit slow, and with sound issus but playble. on the sound side,it's less severe then with Disgaea and Prinny.
here is a list of confirmed working PSP titles(not full list)
PPSSPP as really great control scheme,nds4droid's team, has something to learn from them.
I can finally play games quality almost as the iOS

obviously, emulators on PC are far advanced,we even have now PS3 Emulator in early works. but its always blast to have small and mobile device that can enjoy almost PS2 level of games. soon Wii and PS2 emulators will started to get ported as well
Yeah, I've been playing lots of NDS games on my SGS3, loving it. After the latest update Phoenix Wright games run at 100% speed with frameskip set to 1. There are still some weird slowdowns but it seems it's because of the emulator itself because it doesn't matter what's on the screen at all when it happens.
looks like Dolphin being ported to Android,to bad they are saying them self it will take lots of time and more advanced devices to make it work property
ok, so i was just looking around cydia, and saw something called retrorearmed. it claimed to be a multi system emulator with bt controller support and sounded awesome. i googled it and found it was a copycat/ripoff/ad filled broken pos clone of retroarch, which somehow came out on the same day (or slightly before) the real thing...according to a youtube video i saw on it.
so here i am now, asking if anyone has tried the real one (retroarch), and how is performance and compatibility? seems like a much easier way to do things, compared to installing and configuring a bunch of different emulators. i will probably have a look at it later, but for me, later usually means never. if i get to it before someone else answers, ill post my own findings...if not, here s a link for you to visit.
Super Stardust Portable on PPSSPP Finally went Fully Playble latest builds,I'd rather having Original HD or Delta emulated but this is doing fine, you can even add the DLC at ease which add most of the Original HD modes.

In this tutorial you will learn how to properly install PSP DLC (Downloadable content) on your Sony PSP and PPSSPP emulator.
Adding PSP DLC to your PSP:
This is how to use DLC on a PSP. Iāve tested this on a PSP 3004 with CFW 6.60 PRO-C if you have a different firmware and this doesnāt work you are advised to update.
DLC folders are named after the ID of the game, inside that folder there should be many files like: PARAM.PBP, .edat, .sprx, etc.
Connect your PSP to the PC with a USB cable. Take the DLC folder for example: āULUS10461ā and copy it to your memory stick on the PSP/GAME/ folder. Double check that the DLC files are where they should be:
X:\PSP\GAME\*DLC Folder goes here
Locked on ~30 FPS(Full speed) on my new LG G4 H815 Model.
it's true only one Analog stick, but you can easily change to size of the Shapes Button and make them more closer to each other so you can one finger to shoot which is almost as good as having 2 analog sticks.
PPSSPP customization of location and buttons is very flexible, and very recommended with this kinds of games,PPSSP customization of button only saved for specific game so You don't need to change buttons everytime if you switched game.
Citra team are apparently working on an official Android version of the emulator but it must be noted that work is progressing somewhat slowly and emulator front-end application isnāt good enough for the public to use. Currently, heavy use of Dolphinās Android UI is being made but this may change in the future.
