http://www.gamershell.com/news/23723.html

The first mission is abit lame nothing really pulls me in, ahh well just another clone but on the second mission in the campaign its awsome... some very neat touchs its basically an eye of the beholder in 3D top down view RPG + RTS!

I also like the huge shard downpour in the later mission its a real eye candy bash to the eyes, and the intro is fucking nice!

So far if it keeps this up ill prefer this over warcraft 3

lol...it doesn't bode well that you base a game off of eye candy. If nothing in the first mission pulled you in, i surmise the gameplay isn't all the enjoyable. If this game is just pretty pictures, I'll stick to my porn.

Screenshot looks good, but without any substance it's likely this would be a quick delete for me :-/

i can has computar?!

This promises to be an interesting one at least. They have tried to morph rpg hero's in an rts (like war3 but alot more). As far as I've read it looks like a keeper, but I haven't played the demo yet.

I understand that, but you said it right after complaining about a lackluster first mission. I understood it that you found the game uninspiring but good looking.

get anything to work with the lever i was told by atari to restart the mission!

I knew from the minute they announed this it would be pure crap. The D&D license needs to be taken away from Atari. They've proven with their poor handling of Temple of Elemental Evil that they should have nothing to do with it.

[edit] played the demo and... boy was a right. What a piece of trash. it has nothing to do with Dungeons and Dragons beyond borrowing a setting, and making a half attempt at using some of its magic.
They should have just called it an Eberron game, rather than ride the D&D train to the bank.

It feels like Lords of Everquest, just a bit more fleshed out.
Seems to use a similar build mode to Battle for Middle earth
You construct an area, then on that area you can spawn buildings on various points.

Graphics - Decent
Gameplay - Standard
Strategy element - Non existent. Same as every other RTS out there..just build lots of units and run them through the map.
