Usually love Carell but this trailer was very boring and surprisingly unfunny. Might be good anyways.

Now that trailer has alot more of the Office feel and humour I expected, the previous one was a very weird and boring edit.

So first reviews are in and apparently it's "Netflix Quality(tm)".

I like it, some jokes are a bit corny though. They make fun of Trump a lot, like the tweets, and the generals daughter is dating a Russian spy installed by Trump Laughing

Also senator Petosi, real one is Pelosi, and angry, young congresswomen, in real life Aoc.

Great actors, I like the casting.

Not a Steve Carell fan. And do we really need more space comedies? We've got Orville which works best when it's actually attempting to be serious? The one with Hugh Laurie was *yawn* and this trailer was a bit... off. But it's got John Malkovic (which in itself may make it interesting but it doesn't tell me if it's good or bad). I guess I'll watch the first two episodes and see I click with the style and presentation.

to me avenue 5 is much better, the creator knows how to take advantage of being on hbo. with space force it seems the creator is stuck with network tv in mind, this feels like a cbs, abc, nbc whatever type of show. also i never liked the office or anything he did, but i did liked the bbc office very much.

also for some reason this reminded me of hbo's the brink, that one was good too.

I like it for some reason. Probably because it doesn't look like a typical comedy and Carrell with Malkovich carry it together as a duo.
First episode was total crap but it gets better after that.

I can imagine the establishment hating it because it makes fun of the 'mighty military ind complex'. Also Dump voters because it makes fun of him.

7/10 from me.

Ah, yes, all those conservative entertainment/TV sites that constantly protect Trump from satire Laughing

Trump is his own satire. You should know that pretty well yourself. Laughing

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

It's very average and doesn't really make me want to binge it.. I'll probably get to it, but so much stuff doesn't really click - the tone is weird, the jokes are hit and miss, it's a mix of trying to be "serious"/grounded in the real world and of totally improbable stuff happening..
I mean, the monkey ordeal was just a whole "what the fuck am I watching". Razz
