I sold a Steam key for a game on Ebay UK.

The boy that bought it, registered the same day he bought it. And so he also has no feedback.
I cleary said in the description i send a Steam key. Well some hours later, that retard sends me a message, because he THOUGT i would send the box. Some hours later, after i replied to him, he opens a case at Ebay because of that Very Happy Also the payment at Paypal got on hold.
Well, some days later now i escalated the case directly to Ebay and got it solved some hours ago.
My Paypal payment was no longer on hold, and i had the money again. But that god damn retard also got the money refunded by Ebay themself.... WTF IS WRONG THERE?!
I lost nothing, but that gaylord got a Key for nothing Rage
Bet that little fucker is laughing currently.

I always activate all those buyer restrictions, before selling something. But somehow i still have such bad luck at selling things there.

I recently bought a laptop there. Still waiting for it to arrive. Hope it won't be a brick or something... Laughing

As for the kid who bought your key, well, he probably won't have a very bright future anyway...

Yeah, stories like these remind me why I always steer clear of these sites.

Why? He masterfully deceived the system to receive a free copy of a game. I think he has a great chance at being a 'successful' politician. Laughing

Buying's easy, and if you're paranoid you can just stick to the professional sellers. It's usually the selling that can give you a headache, so much so that less and less people want to bother with it these days.

TBH sounds more like he knew that already, that if he would complain he would get money and the key anyway.

I know, i had that feeling too. He wasn't answering any of my emails for days, but was pretty fast answering to Ebay every time.
I reported him again for abusing his buyers protection. Probably won't be of use, as i bet he is just making new accounts everytime.
Seeing as he just registered on the day of purchase. Could be coincidence, but i have high doubts Very Happy

Agree. It's getting harder and harder to find pretty awesome deals :\. You can see more and more online stores setting up accounts there. But it's still good place to find cheap stuff if you are lucky. But good days are long gone.

Ebay is good for selling depending what is it. I would stay away from selling any kind of computer related items ie motherboards, video card, cpu. I had twice already trouble with motherboard.
