So lets throw away billions worth of food because there MIGHT be horsemeat in swedish microwave/heat up lasagna and in IKEAs meatballs No idea how many countries it has affected, seems to be quite a few...
Besides horse meat is pretty expensive, and way more healthy than lots of other meats. So eat and be happy
TBH id be happy getting any meat in a Findus lasagna
Yes, but what if you were allergic to horse meat (small percentage of ppl are, but that's not the point), and you buy a product that has horse meat in it, but you think it's beef or pork, and you get anaphylactic shock, and you die. Then it wouldn't be that funny.
Plus we could be grateful it's horse meat, what if it was dog, cat or rat meat? That wouldn't also be funny.
That's why I never buy that preprocessed food. I got to my butcher, I see the meat I want and I pay for it. And then I cook my meal, and know what's in it

AND a lot of horses have been pumped full of various veterinary strength substances for various reasons.. horse antibiotics, steroids etc.. that is stored in the tissue. You don't want to risk children or pregnant women getting that into their systems.
What's wrong with horse meat? It's quite possibly the cleanest. We have several horse meat salamis here and I'll be damned if anyone complained. Ever.
This unknown horse meat comes from criminal organisations with no source of origin, what kind of condition it was in and if the meat was tainted or not..
Besides.. If you buy a banana and get an old carrot when you peel the banana you've been cheated. There are rules and laws to protect us from companies being able to sell fake beef, fake pork, fake anything that is actually something else. If you want beef, you should get beef and nothing else, and it should come from certified butchers/companies that are inspected on a regular basis.
If things were different half of Europe would constantly have salmonella outbreaks or parasitical diseases become more common than the cold.

After working in the Scale business for about 3 years. I will NEVER EVER eat any processed meats from big plants. I have literally put a weight on a scale that was probably just used at a rendering plant or something nasty. Then watch the worker proceed to put meat cuttings directly on the scale without sanitizing. Then bag them with sauce and then sterilize. I questioned them about it, and all they said is the final process kills anything. Fucking nasty.
Meh it's just some horsemeat. Sure they should have been honest and told us it was horse meat all along but I personally don't have anything against horse meat, it's pretty good.
Also wouldn't it be funny if it contained pork instead of beef? I guess heads would be rolling then, literally
horse meat carrying anything through it from when it was alive, not checked for or controlled == eating fucking anything....
you could all be eating lots of saturated semen from sick horse fuckers by now and you all seem to love it
but seriously what of all the shit injected into a horse etc.. its not something to ignore is it.. or is everyone happy to just go fuck it its food! be grateful these days?
I buy beef and somehow someone fucks up and I get horse meat who knows what else they fucked up on. If they have a system that dubious maybe parts of my meat came off the road from a road kill truck on it's way to the dog food plant.
For anyone who thinks people are making too much a fuss over this, I think you trust too much that the horse you got was meant for human consumption.

think ill stick to chicken for a while at least its a bit more obvious what it is ..
but who knows what they grind in that lasagnas, ears, pussies, nails, dicks, testicles, skin, probably everything, they mask that well with E- aditives, so i avoid sausages, pate, and other grinded shit,.
I don't mind horsemeat, as a matter of fact, I love horsemeat, I think it tastes better than beef, more buttery and nutty in the flavour, all parts are tender as fuck, no knife needed.
But, the issue here is the total lack of not knowing if the darn horse wasn't full of medication before they cut it up...
Needless to say, I enoy sausages too, but, I grind the meat myself, or buy it from my local butcher (which you all should support), and I know what goes into them, yes, its internal organs and stuff, but no additives or sprayed from the bone left overs..
Whilst on it, tired of buying the cheapo stuff that starts to boil in your pan? Invest a few days less a week into beef/meat days, and buy properly aged meat, it's a whole different food stuffs compared to what the supermarket sells. Screw that cheap imported frozen brazilian beef, support your local producers, and stuff like this won't happen, since they can get in whole carcasses to cut up and handle, then they know what they are using.
Tonight, I'm having locally produced Wagyu, paid 29.99 Euro for a kilo, that, imho, is money well spent, and every little speck of the piece will be used..
Oh, and get to know a local hunter, buy meat in season, you can't get better nor probarly much cheaper meat.. I buy moose in fall, 9.99 per kilo, butcher weight (bone in), and get it all cut up, vacuum packed and marked by him, telling you, find a guy like that, and smooch..
if they can just put donkeys in your hamburger without ANYONE knowing about besides the perpetrators till some random DNA test is done in ireland.... then i dont wanna know what other bullshit lands in our food.
Butcher I once met at a bar told me everyone is nuts for not going to a local butcher to see the meat being cut up in front of his eyes to know whats in it, i thought of it as some punchline to score more customers... guess he wasnt off at all.
By the time it took you to post that, you could had just googled it and posted it with the complaint, now you just complained like a crazy women on her period
Anyhow, there is no point to translate, donno if you guys even know who Loesje is
But since you prolly still want it: "No wonder that my prince isn't arriving, his white horse is in the lasagne"
