Ok,i'll say what i've done

In the past i made 2 partitions in total in my actual HDD, one for XP and the other for W7.

Recently i've updated my BIOS from the ASUS motherboard in my sig to the latest version, 3603 (for Win7&Win8) here http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=es-es&m=P8Z68-V+PRO%2fGEN3&p=1&s=39 ,by choosing Windows 7 64bit)

The thing is that i wanted to make a new partition for W8 testing purposes,so i went to the XP boot and after the XP Logo an instant BSOD appeard and disappeard, causing to reboot again to the boot menu.

Is it because of the BIOS?..if so,is there a chance i can downgrade the BIOS to version 3402? (This version mentions NOTHING about any Windows) .. or should i format the XP partition from my Windows 7 disc or directly from the Windows 7's Computer part?

HEEEELP!..the reason i wanted to go to XP is to install PArtition Magic 8.0 since it's incompatible on W7...Also,using the XP disc loads part of the installer, but whenever i'm supposed to reach the "Select HDD to format/install" a BSOD appears, this one stays on screen but doesn't mentions any file nor anything

you can run partition magic for windows 7, by just using it as a boot disc or flashdrive.

Very Happy no need to install it. and it will work fine.
