Anyone used this before?
https://www.scirra.com/
It's perfect for someone like me... I'm quite good at javascript, but this automates so much of what I need to do.. with the inclusion of physics, you can make some pretty cool stuff. The best part is that it outputs everything to HTML5 (or Javascript/webgl/canvas/whatever, fuckin' buzzwords)
My first game will be ready in a few weeks and I'll post it here, just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with it before. The current one I'm doing is for work, but afterwards I am DEFINITELY going to be making something more complex with it - if anyone's interested in helping.

just discovered Construct 2 and as a engine its fucking amazing, you can literally build yourself some basic mechanics for platformer within minutes of work. all i`ve done so far is complete one basic tutorial and watched few youtube videos and i`m already feeling like i`m able to make simple 8bit like era platformer, maybe with little problem-solving here and there for more complex stuff.
Interinactive i see you didnt post your game updates, any info on that work-related or your own project?

can you tell me a little about the workflow? i tried to find a pirated version but i can t find anything current, and the demo is lacking features i am very interested in (mobile/wifi previews etc).
what can you import for graphics? is there any kind of animation system or is it just a matter of importing pre-animated sprites from some other animation software? what about code? it says 'no programming required' but what kind of support is there (or how is the built in solution to scripting/events/general programming tasks if there is no support for java or similar)?

Construct 2 is extremely easy and a really good way to start in the world of game design.
