I'm using utorrent and when I download bigass torrents [over 100GB] the program crashes a lot. After it crashes and restarts, it does a crc check. It can take a lot of time. Is there a way to stop the crc check or crashing?

I need to find a working magnet to torrent converter. I'm using http://btd*gg.o*g for magnets.

Just let it start the download to get the file list, and then ctrl+click files you don't want to download, right click, "do not download" (or "skip", depending on version of uTorrent).

To get the file list, you need to wait, sometimes ten minutes. But I forget to wait and it creates blank files and eats all of my hard drive space if the torrent is big.
I know where utorrent stores '.torrent' files, but I need a solution to convert the magnet link to a .torrent. There is no other way.

Well then, go to Preferences -> General and untick "Preallocate all files".

Yeah, I have diskiosparsefiles option in advanced. But still, sucks, that it creates files and then I have to stop torrent, then delete unneded files, untick unneeded files and then force recheck. Converting magnet 2 torrent seems more atractive.
