So in the Dom Rep, a lot of international organizations and powers are pressuring us into helping the haitians.

They ask us to:
- Open borders to them, without papers or anything
- Free clinic and health service
- To stop enforcing border control and using force to hold the waves of illegal inmigrants coming to our country to rob and get free service.

Ok, humanitary help right? We do it because we do feel for them all in all. But it should be said that when a dominican goes to the same clinic as the haitians they get rejected for not having ID or Health insurance etc... hilarious.

But really..... who the fuck gives USA or Canada rights to pressure us? Why doesnt Canada let the Americans go in freely and give them free health service too? Why doesnt USA open their borders to mexico and give them free services too?

Fucking joke.....

Well for one the USA has paid millions upon millions in foreign assistance to you guys and without the trade deals with the USA your land would be in utter shambles. So theres that regarding pressure and right.

And its pressure for you guys to help a bordering nation get back on its feet. How is that a "fucking joke"?

You dont think USA would help Mexico how ever they could after such an earthquake and such an aftermath? Alone the way the Dominican republic has treated Haiti citizens through the years would make me be ashame.

There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

Theres history and a lot of other things involved here. And its not due to recent events, the help that the aid uve mentioned has been given in infrastructures and other stuff, theres a lot of critique here in a lot of situations that have poped up in how the international has helped haiti and how they havent, but there are some very delicate issues that are being pressured, like the health thing and the illegal passing through the borders.

No country is gonna let a horde of people go in without papers etc, specially not with all the haitians raping, killing, robbing etc, i read my newspapers and it isnt cute what we read. Then again, i live here and its pretty complicated stuff, and a lot of unfair requests from the international.
