Short story, I have a 500gb hdd with Windows 8 on it and a 250gb hdd with random games and apps

I unplugged the 500gb one, deleted all partitions on the 250 one, created new ones and started installing linux on them; at one point i got bored as it was getting late and decided to continue the next day

The next day though i had to print something so i plugged the 500gb hdd back, booted from it in Windows 8, boot time took around 5 minutes and i was sure the bloody windows is doing something without noticing me.. like windows always does..

..aaand when it finally boot into windows i noticed all my linux paritions on the 250gb hdd were gone and windows restored the partition table i had before trying to install linux. so instead of 1 swap and 2 ext4 partitions i ended up with 2 RAW ones with the same directories i had on them when they were actually NTFS except the data in them is broken.
WHAT THE FUCK!!!

I know that windows cant read ext4 partitions, the problem is that win8 tried to restore them, turning them from ext4 into RAW instead of simply ignoring them; And i dont have nor want dual boot, i have separate boot on each hdd and change the HDD boot order in bios. i thought my post was clear enough Sad

this reminds me of a time when i had a crazy boot pc in Dos 6.11 my hdds where in normal order in win 95 same , win 98 same in win xp same , in win vista that dire that had windows on it WAS FROM NOW ON GOD AND CALLED C: making a partition d = g, h= d ,r=f etc...

win 7 same shit but now win will not boot to gui IF the drive that has windows installed IS NOT SET AS GOD IN BIOS Laughing for fuck sake then it can't find boot.ini so you have to have a windows disc in to start its gui but when you change it in bios .. bam windows 8 works fine again Mr. Green this is retarded as fuck

win 3.11 to win 98 wanted to be the next graphical UI that will replace Norton Commander or DN
Win xp wanted to be a self contained system with custom build dos for service mode
Vista wanted to integrate with bios drop dos
and win 7 finally did it... fucking your system up

win8 is now more a retard os that explores human interaction .... fuck keyboard speak and it will guess what you said and type "fwmoiaejnfoneaslbew" fuck mouse use METRO gui and buy this new $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ touch screen for your PC

creating a os specially made for they new Xbox720 , for theirs new controller Surface , mobiles and their new Tables is OK... but forcing it down into the Desktop PC market is a SUICIDE

are you sure? it seems logical that windows would show ext4 as raw partition as it cannot read ext4. i never heard of windows automatically wiping partitions - i think the linux bootloader was wiped.... nothing more, nothing less. try to boot a live cd and verify your ext4 partition
