felt some what bad because it was such a great game and you kinda reminisce in all the work that has gone through it?

for me dishonored and that one game about the calamety with that great narrating voice

I tend to buy those when i have the money for it.
even tho i finished them long ago.

These are mostly indie games.

Every Bethsoft game since Daggerfall. I love The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series, but they don't release them in my territory and I will not pay first world prices while living in a Third world economy, I eventually picked them all up on steam once they became reasonably priced.

I don't feel bad about this, but Bethsoft should.

well i didnt feel BAD about it or anything, but i definately felt that witcher was worth buying after id finished the piratey version. in fact i felt it was so worth buying, i bought it three times Very Happy

i also think that mass effect 1 and 2 are worth buying, given the amount of enjoyment I got out of them... ill definately buy them when a complete trilogy, with all dlc, comes to steam. AND NOT A MOMENT BEFORE, EA!! *shakes fist* ALL DLC INCLUDED OR NOTHING, GOD DAMN YOU!

The Witcher 1/2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl
Metro 2033
Mirror's Edge

Many others that I've bought in the last year on Steam. But the ones in the list are the ones I bought immediately after finishing them.

Only ones I planned to replay these days. Although when I was a kid I'd buy any Sierra adventure game despite having finished most of them pirated - remember even writing to Sierra about how much I loved the games. Got a free magazine from them Laughing (I was like... 9)

Such passion has long since gone.

Far Cry 3.

I was expecting it to be a piece of junk like Far Cry 2. i was planning to play it for a few hours, enjoy the graphics then uninstall.

I thought that I might just buy it anyway since it seemed better then Far Cry 2, but it costs $70 USD on Steam for Australians, so I didn't bother.

Turns out Far Cry 3 is one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, I just love the sandbox nature of it, the missions are great but are not really important in why I'm enjoying the game.

Then there's other games like Metro 2033, I only played it a few months ago and liked it, but I really struggle to pay for anything thats not a preorder or recently released.

I ended up getting it free on Steam from a facebook promotion a few days ago anyway Laughing

Witcher 2, Sins of a Solar Empire, Anno 2070. All games I really enjoyed and decided to pay for it.

I feel bad when I pirated Elemental, so when Fallen Enchantress was available for pre-order, I bought it.

I've never felt the feeling "OMG, I feel so bad for doing this! Sad They really made something great! Very Happy "

It's more like, "oh that game is good, cool, when it's cheap I'll buy it."

I didn't regret any games i pirated, simply because they overprice the games + the dlc shit storm they release will milk you more and more. If you count every DLC from ME2 you will be shocked about how much you would have payed for it.

I am tired of companies like EA and their milking system.

I can say that in most cases I feel exactly the opposite:
After playing the game I frequently think
"man what luck I did not pay for this crap, otherwise I would feel having wasted lots of money for this overpriced, buggy, repetitive, cliched, badly programmed, unbalanced, unfinished, badly designed... (insert your favorite justification...)... crap." I think, in more than 80% of all games I am checking out I feel this way.

OK, there are exceptions... some great titles I finished with a "guilty" feeling, I remember actually were for example
the Elder Scrolls games, Batman Arkham City, Titan Quest, GTA Vice City, FarCry, Fallout3

Recently I may count these in for season 2012:
Torchlight 2, Legend of Grimrock, Risen 2

Some I did buy afterwards, some not... thats (a pirate's) life.
