They also put their name behind the Warhammer football crap. And the 40K games that came before Dawn of War.
Hardly a measure of quality.

I suspect Photoshop comprises a significantly larger percentage of those pics than he admits to. Hopefully he is not completely full of shit though and the end result is a decent game. An X-Com alike I could quite happily live with. I enjoyed the EA Space Hulk, but I never liked the realtime with (some) pause mechanic. Just doesn't work for tactical squad-based stuff.

There only appears to be 1 in game shot, with the movement indicator on it, and then it's just cropped to appear again. The rest look like concept art and old shots from the old game.

fucking expensive |
That's a disgusting price for an iOS game, absolutely disgusting. The game may well be amazing but that price is all sorts of wrong. |
Indeed.. but let's not despair! I can already see it being included in some bundle in a matter of weeks/months.

Heh, true that! That's fair enough then, we can look forward to getting the game at the same iOS price of $4.99 ^_^
... and yes, it does still look really good. A proper computerised version of the classic tabletop game, yum!

I thought the iOS version was a lot cheaper, thus why people are questioning the price, maybe I got it wrong?
Then again I guess licenses like Warhammer and Games Workshop's involvement is also a factor for it but I don't know.
(I don't even know much about the actual game in the first place, amount of content included and such to justify a higher purchase price.)

It won't be €28 on iOS, it's more likely going to be $4.99 *maybe* $9.99 but my "money" (haha....) is on $4.99.

That's iOS gaming for you. Knights of Pen & Paper is $1.99 on iOS/Android and $10 ($15 for the "deluxe" edition which gives you an extra character and some trinkets) on PC. No extra content (indeed, the "+1 Edition" content came to iOS/Android free of charge in a patch) just a nice price hike because Fuck You that's why.

What a shame. I was actually looking forward to buying it, but I thought it was going to be more like 15-20 bucks.
