Usually it goes by waist.
Something like W32 or W32 R /L /S (regular/long/short).

Yeah, except I read somewhere it's measured differently, for them only. It's not inches. Something else, I don't know.

Strange indeed. jeans and overall clothes is a pain in the ass to buy online in this times. they have so many diffrent numbers, according to uk, us, eu... even letters they added. meh.
