Ok guys. Big dilemma here. I like my 360. I really do. But since I got my new pc few weeks ago, there was no reason to even turn it on. Most games from that thing, run 1080p 60fps on pc so whats the point.
Now besides some exclusives like THE DARKNESS (my fav game), gow2,3, Crackdown, red dead and maybe some, there is NOTHING else.
so, If I should sell it - for what price? it's an elite jasper with 88 burned discs + lego batman +ihas.
OR
maybe I should sell it and get ps3? I would still have my fav game (the darkness) on it _ UNCHARTED GAMES, god of war and killzone!!! fuck.

I was thinking about buying a 360, but I will get a Wii U I think, because my niece asked me to buy one ^.^ ...

Not if you buy a "new" one (production date somewhere in the last year and a half or so). New ones can't be hacked. Only half of the Slims out there are old enough for it, the newest ones can't be jailbroken (yet). |

My friend who had slim for 2 years just got it hacked for $$$. The pro said that "every derpsole3 can be downhraded to 3.55 and hacked.
He paid him 50$ for it. quite much
I could get a new ps3 for the price, Iw ill sell my xbawks + games. but I need vga cable and then ... well games

So what slims can be downgraded? 3.55 is impossible to find. What highest soft is downgradable ?

He's lying. If the PS3 shipped with 3.56+, it can't be done (well, some 3.56 consoles can, but it's not entirely reliable).

3.55 is the maximum. It doesn't have to be ON 3.55, as long as it SHIPPED with 3.55.
Every phat can be downgraded; although phats with a model number up to and including CECHG (fifth one is A-G, the one that matters for these) you'll probably have to look harder. These are known as NAND PS3's and require more work to get downgraded. CECHH and up are known as NOR consoles, they are easier because they can use a NOR clip
As far as slims go: it has to have a manufacturing date BEFORE 2011. From January 2011 onwards no console shipped with 3.55 or lower.

I don't want fat. so i need 2years used console? I am still not sure if I will sell xbox but there is really almost no point holding to it.
Same will be with ps3 once I finish exclusives.

Well i use my x360 and PS3 only to play exclusives  i opened my x360 ~4 months ago last time yet i keep it , you never know when a good title might pop up for x360 (yeah i know that's like curing cancer but still )

Yeah I would be crying out loud when the time of the year will come to replay The Darkness. Sure it is also on ps3 but ps3 version is lower framerate and have no aa. While 360 version have 4x aa.

they're not that good games. they're ok. nothing really shines on the ps3 gameplay wise. it's all pretty gfx and shit. i wouldn't sell an xbox for a ps3. it's just stupid. but if you want to experience the exclusives. go ahead. they're worth it just to say you played them. but there's nothing in them to make you go DAMN THATS SOME GOOD CONTROL! lol...
wii u is a safe bet especially since you can hook it up to your tv and you can play party games w/ your gf. and nintendoland is pretty addictive. other than that... new consoles coming out next year. lol. full of ports and maybe one or two exclusive titles. xbox will be a media centre focused on kinect and ps4 will have one or two games (and no backward compatibility)
stick with xbox for now. there's loads of good games on it. plenty of great ports. \o/
