Allister Brimble will create up to date versions of his best musical works from the Commodore Amiga on a double CD album.

I have received many requests to create new versions of my tracks in the past, but I never felt I could improve on them.. until now. The technology exists to inspire me to create new versions of my tunes for these much loved games from the Commodore Amiga. The cover artwork you see is not the final product. The artwork will be created by Rico Holmes, the amazing artist behind the Team 17 graphics and inspired by one of his original Amiga pictures!

The must have biography of the infamous Ocean Software - a groundbreaking publisher, developer and innovator.

Ocean Software was a revered and well respected software house all over the world, producing and developing iconic games throughout the 8 and 16-bit era.

'The History Of Ocean' will unfold the story of Ocean; exploring the company's origins, its employees, their games, their music and the iconic artwork that placed the company at the forefront of the games industry for over a decade.

With your support we want to produce the definitive Ocean book - full colour, high production quality and written by Roger Kean of Newsfield, the company that gave us the seminal Crash, ZZap 64 and Amtix magazines.

I will donate to this, great memories brought by the music of Allister Brimble and the games published by Ocean Software. There was a time where I thought of Ocean as my favorite publisher, and I still listen to Mr. Brimble's music to this day Very Happy

I wish someone would do a similar project about Ultimate Play The Game, the most secretive developer (primarily for the speccy), a developer/publisher founded by the Stamper brothers (who at the end of the 8-bit/16-bit era created Rare to make Nintendo games. Ultimate was notorious for never doing interviews, kept their games and technology under wraps which added a mystique to the company that made some of the best games ever released on the speccy.

Ocean however was the big fish in those times. Head over Heels, Batman (isometric) etc. etc. etc. etc.

Then there was imagine who ported tons of coin-ops to Speccy and C64.. Yie Are Kung-Fu for example. Wink
