it's like that with lots of opinions,criticize socialism and people here will deemed you enemy of the state(and I'm saying it as one as live in very socialist place so I won't say it's not bad method but it's not perfect)
I do agree however that Marxism pretty much failed like the Communism truning states into Dictatorships

What happened was that instead of polarizing ideologies against each other, certain western countries cherry picked the best parts and created a new ideology out of it. Social Capitalist Democracy. For some ridiculous reason some americans (Romney voters mostly) thinks western Europe is running on communism Laughing

There are no socialist countries in Western Europe and has never been. Sure, there was a national socialist country (gone) as well as a fascist country (gone) and some balkan communist nation (gone and split up).

I dont' get your point? We have welfare (free healthcare etc..) as I said, we've built up ideologies where we've picked the best parts of socialism and capitalism and created a hybrid..

like been said, its more of an hybrid of capitalism with socialism,but it's still has socialism at some degree.

Yeah, that's the most common mistake ever made regarding European politics and ideologies, esp. in the Scandinavian/Nordic countries. Romney-americans probably think we live like in a marxist state-model like old Soviet/CCCP Laughing

Marxists tell you to prove that their ideology is wrong. Where nobody has to, history already proved that it's not practical in the slightest.
