had one, power supply blew and fried the MB ... didn't feel like buying a new one.
Tried to replace it with an apple tv and a BD player. ATV2 is only 720p (and sometimes has streaming issues over wireless), my laptop doesn't have an optical drive, so a half decent BD player with support for my MKVs rounds it all out.
I guess i could always split the mkvs into 4gb but that seems like a pain in the ass :/
asus z170-A || core i5-6600K || geforce gtx 970 4gb || 16gb ddr4 ram || win10 || 1080p led samsung 27"

hmmm ps3 has wifi and usb and BD... i know u can run Divx and Xvid off it too, not sure about MKvs though. i found a perfectly working computer in my buddy's condo just sitting in a recycle bin of the guest parking lot... took it home its a core2duo with good video card and 6 gig ram... turned it into my home theater unit. but i wanted to get the apple TV stuff too... much simpler setup... but i guess if it has streaming issues i'll research it more. WD has a box too it sounded decent.

Im streaming movies to either my ps3 (yes, I hate to admit it...but I do own a console...with 20+ games that i've never played. Bought it for the Blueray player when it was released) - or Allshare since my telly is a samsung.
That pretty much covers all format I ever need to use.
Too bad that Allshare doesnt really seem to like iso's, but thats not a big deal I suppose.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Such a misleading thread title. Expected nouseforaname to describe his experience of shtupping an inanimate object.
1 and 2 are still amazing.
