CGI and live-action.
So I was watching Forward Unto Dawn, right? And the part where the Covenant invade the Corbulo academy appears, and obviously those scenes were CGI, but then this guy comes behind and says "Holy shit, look at their faces, they're so real, amazing GRAPHICS".
Me: Are you serious? Those were actual actors, here's their IMDB page.
Him: Nah man, their faces were scanned Bungie did like Activision and scanned the faces for the game, just like Call of Duty.
In my head:" What the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit."
Me: "It's 343 Industries. It's either Infinity Ward or Treyarch, not Acivision. The series is live-action. It's meant to promote Halo 4, it's a prequel."
Him: "No way man, those are game cutscenes."
