I've looked about.seems to be only a few available that don't look all that promising. Was hoping to find a new xforce keygen that works but all I find is dll hacks that come with warnings that the other adobe installed apps might not work...

Impressed and inspired by ixi's amazing skills in Christmas-ifying avatars, I decided I want to learn how to use Photoshop as well. I had it installed previously, have learnt some very basics. But before I install it again, I wanted to ask the more experienced users some questions:
(Noob content warning! )
1) Do I need to install 32-bit executables on 64-bit OS? Or can I safely skip those?
2) Does it matter where I install it? Should it be Windows drive, some other drive, Program Files folder? Does it make any difference?

@Raccoon: haha despite what you may think, I'm quite noob as well
I'm currently still using CS5 but:
1) Yes, importing videos for example requires the 32 bit executable (and probably other functions that I'm not aware of, too)
2) It shouldn't make any difference as far as I know, but I'm not 100% sure!
Thanks I installed both version because I didn't know which to choose. EDIT: And now after ixi's post, it was the right thing I believe.
As for installation drive - everything went into C:\Adobe. However, I think things were loading slightly faster previously when everything resided on separate HDD.
Now time to completely overhaul my signature. Judging by application's complexity and amount of things I've yet to learn, new Christmas version should be ready... next year.
First task - remove those stupid huge red ears. Clone Stamp Tool should do the trick, right?

Texture entire scenes, props and characters within minutes, all following the art direction you've carefully designed. Advanced material definition, designed to work with any material, organic or hard-surface. Realistic or stylized accumulation of wear & tear. Pops right into the industry-standard Photoshop texturing workflow. Full-auto, 100% custom.
Haha nice thanks, I'm still on the CS5 after all these years, go figure xD (been using it only for the lols so there's no pressure in my case). Will try to beat the laziness and update too..maybe!
Is there any newer Photoshop CS (except for CS3?) that you can simply use portable without being some sort of shitty portable installer bundled pos? My go to CS3 is missing some interesting features from newer Photoshop versions but it has the benefit that I can simply copy it anywhere and run it without it leaving any trace or requiring to install anything. Oh and it's also <100mb.
I'm using CC2017 and works pretty fine. The only issue , personal for me, is that 2018 and 2019 , if you have minimized opened images/PSDs, and you press CTRL+TAB to cycle/pop 'em up again ....They won't, they'll stay hidden...And it's been like that for months.
Hence i'm staying with CC2017

I'm using all the latest Adobe CC software. Was from a post on newsgroups a while ago (never heard of Adobe anticloud before), tried it in VM and worked so installed on main PC. You could also grab the evaluation versions from Adobe site for all software and use Adobe anticloud then just block everything that attempts to connect to net.
Note: Each time you install another Adobe package, run anticloud install again. Or just install everything Adobe and run it once.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
