my mouse has been slower than a gambler on rent day, lag lag lag, 'n after finding my ancient logitech gaming mouse hidden in bottom of 'historic tech' chest no longer managed an uninterrupted connection I lashed out n bought a bottom of the range razor corded mouse - the abyssus.
Plugged it nin and it appears to work good but it also has many controls for all sorts of arcane settings.
I hunted thru the plathora of expensive packaging & found mo driover disk just a reference to a url to d/l drivers.
That link took me to site where some sort of console&drivers makes everything bar the kitchen sink possible with my razor but nowhere with just drivers. The 'package' fessed up to containing all sorts of home pages n tool bars which I have no doubt are avoidable if concentration is sufficient.
But maybe not.
Does anyone know if razors run ok on standard win7 mouse drivers?

using my old ms habu (which is nothing else then a razor deathadder) without any drivers cause i dont need the features, if u need any of these features (i.e. dpi switch, which i dont need cause the habu has two buttons for it) install it

The Mamba driver did absolutely nothing for me except provide me with an on-screen gauge which shows my DPI sensitivity when changed (I can see this on the mouse anyway) and allow me to change the LED color. So yeah, I find them useless. Can't say anything about the Electras tho, since there aren't any drivers for'em.
