I dont know if anyone is following this but yesterday Jason Roberts (a pro footballer in England) said he wouldnt be wearing the 'Kick Racism out of Football' t-shirt that footballers usually wear.
After what has happened with John Terry and Luis Suarez this year, I really cant blame him.
Alex Ferguson has come out and criticised Jason Roberts but I think if the FA is going to take such a light hearted view on the matter, then more needs to be done.
Fifa fined lazio £35,000 for racish chanting against Tottenham this month and I think that shows that it really isnt high on their agenda.

Read somewhere that both Ferdinand's are going to do the same thing. And I agree, I don't blame them either. FIFA and, in this case FA, have to step up and do more.

How is it the teams fault if there are 100 idiots on the stadium chanting insults, the team shouldn't be punished, the fans responsible should, period.
Anyway the whole racism thing is blown way out of proportion, I doubt this young black kid knows what racism is, let me explain it to him. Example of racism in sports happened in the USA up until the 60's where black man weren't allowed to play professional sports (NBA, MLB etc.). When they won that right they weren't allowed into restaurants with the other white team members or into hotels they had to sleep in the team bus, weren't allowed to use the toilet that was for white people only. College ball was split into two parts, white and black and they weren't allowed to compete against each other.
Chanting insults happens regularly in every sport, especially football, if he is bitching about it then I can too when some black fan looks at me funny while I'm playing football or basketball. South Park had a brilliant episode about this, like it's okay when two members of the same race throw stones at one another but when you hit someone that's of a different skin color then yourself than it's a race crime and much more serious lol

Besides racism against whites exists in South Africa where they rape every white women they can find.

South Africa is generally a pretty much fucked up place anyway, so why single out white girls getting raped? One in 3 were raped and every 4th man said he raped a woman, half of them even more than one woman.

Chelsea banned for life a fan that made racist remarks towards an opposition player at Stamford Bridge. The same club asked Ashley Cole to 'sex up' his story to the court where John Terry was being tried for racism. How can they justify banning a fan for life when an asset to the club was ruled to be being racist to a fellow player?
Clubs have double standards. Punish the club for fan idiocy and fans will fall into line.

No they won't that's my point, like I said people that chant monkey sounds or whatever don't care about the club or team getting banned for a 100 years, they are hooligans not real fans of the team, punishing the team because of them makes no sense to me. |

Haven't followed that, but racism in football is rampant these days, and it's a disgrace that needs to be punished and finally eradicated. It makes my blood boil 
Lazio fans are especially famous for being fascist (literally) cunts, they "booooo" every time a black guy touches the ball, but other supporters aren't better either (even Juventus had problems with some idiot ultras who kept insulting Balotelli on weekly basis).
Very often they're just a small minority though, it's not a broad problem like the institutions want to make us think, but still, we must punish these people otherwise there's no escape.

There are so many people in the stands in a football match and it's not easy to find the racist ones, not sure how would you do it, you can set up cameras everywhere with microphones then zoom in on to individual people's faces who are booing lol and ban them from all matches, it would take forever really.
It's the whole 'FIFA against racism' machine, like in the American leagues it's considered normal for fans to heckle pro athletes, which resulted in Ron Artest punching a fan (1 year suspension) and Charles Barkley spitting on a fan and missing (he hit a little girl in the face instead).
imo they're getting paid so much, 1000x more than they deserve for chasing a ball, they should just swallow some of the insults, racist or otherwise, it's just words.

teams should be punished if they refuse to deal with the problem adequately. whenever I have been to a match they have so many stewards and so much cctv that the "we couldn't identify them" line is s bit of a joke.
That's my experience anyway.

The judge said that he thought that he probably did it but that they couldnt prove it fot definite. All evidence pointed to him doing it but they could say for certain.
John Terry has released a statement saying that he shouldnt have used the words that he used 'no matter what the context'. imo the context argument is bollocs.
John Terry is total scum. There's no doubt in my mind that he racially abused Anton Ferdinand
