Just watched the sample, pretty funny scene, video is not bad for a cam, audio has a slight hiss but sounds full on my speakers. Overall good for first rls. Keep it up POT!

I just watched this and the quality is not bad. Audio could be really better. But i think its again a great movie from Michael Moore.

Just get the sample first, if you are unsure about the quality.

And digitalman26: The quality cant be compared to recent TS like Garfield, its definitly worse.

Will watch this movie in theatre for sure.

Im waiting on a TS, im guessing one will be here very shortly, the cam from Pot was horrible. But I know, it's a camcorder, so im not busting on them.

I highly doubt VideoCD is gonna do a TS on this. There's too many important subtitles. So if there's a TS it probably won't be from VideoCD.

I was hopeing for a videocd release soon, but since they're frenchies I guess its possible they won't release it. I do hope this gets a better release other than a cam soon.....this movie isn't playing in my area =/

POT's release SUCKS SHIT. I watched about 2 mins of it and thought it to be utter crap. Pls PLs Pls........ someone release a TS, if we have to wait for the overseas version of VideoCD then so be it.

As A CAM 7/5/8

I liked this movie alot. Prolly b/c I dont like Bush at all:) Anyways the picture quality was ok. There were ppl walking in front of the camera and tilting and stuff like that. The sound wasnt too good at all. It had a hiss through out the whole movie and when it would go to music or something (pretty much any time the guy wasnt talking) the audio would go way down. Very hard to hear at that point. But POT did a very, very good job with the quickness of this release and its definately pretty watchable for those who really want to see this. Thanks for the good work POT and I look forward to more releases from ya! Smile

I don't know if anybody noticed but there's an 18 minute section of the movie cut out. I didn't know that either until I read it at VCDquality.com shortly after I watched it. Is it true that its common for CAM's to be missing parts of the movie? It must be true since this release wasn't nuked.

I guess you never noticed that VideoCD comes from France...where this movie isn't playing. So I wouldn't expect it from them anytime soon. Besides, too many subtitles in this one...they would all be in French.

As for groups in the US...the movie is still playing on a limited number of screens and with higher security than a normal movie has. When I saw it there were 2 armed cops right at the entrance to the theater. I have to believe that fact along with the limited number of screens is making it hard to get.

Well two reasons we have no better release yet: (choose yours)

1) Movie isn´t of much interest

2) As the Torrent to the POT Version got linked on nearly any Moore and Anti Moore Fansite the bigger groups may fear that it get´s too public. Guess what happens when a TS or somethin get´s released - right it get´s linked everywhere including the Group Name.

Gladly the Groups are not stupid, and unnecessary attention should be the last thing they want to have.

That's one of the dumbest things I've read in a while. First you say there isn't much interest in the movie, which is complete BS. Whether you like Michael Moore or hate him, this movie got a huge amount of press and had alot of people interested by the time it came out. Just look at the box office results. Then you say that the other reason there isn't a better copy is because everything is too public and groups are afraid of having their name out there. Could you possibly contradict yourself any more? So which one is it...is there no interest or is there too much interest? lol. dumbass. And since when does that stop groups from releasing anyway? They just release under phantom group names if they're worried. Like the RING screener of LOTR3 for example.

Your insight was brilliant, but I think I'll chalk it up to the fact that the movie isn't playing overseas and it's playing on a limited number of screens in the US with high security.

(And before you call me a Moore lover or a Bush lover notice that I didn't even give a hint as to what I personally thought of the movie. I was just shooting down your ridiculous analysis as to why there isn't a TS yet.)

If moore says that he doesn't mind people downloading his film does that mean people can take a camera into the cinema or why doesn't moore just give downloaders a diamond copy of the film if he isn't bothered?
