Every 3 months i get a double salary, so this month after the expenses i calculated around US1000 to be saved... i was pretty hyped up....

I live with my mom and sis, my sis has problems at work and shes currently in usa, my mom doesnt work...(too old, no work aval). so i pay everything...

Then out of fucking nowhere the credit card statement arrives..... im used to around US$700 expenses, i had calculated that.... well well... its around US$1800 in reality.....

no savings, no pleasure for me, what really pisses me off is that im the one paying everything, and the expenses seem too fucking high to me... but i gotta take care of my family dont i.... no other choice...

im so sick of living like this, ive tried to see what else to do, what change, no idea pops up, still looking.... and this fucking country just gets worst and worst and i cant go because i still havent finished my studies...

Oh well, i gotta keep living or else i wont enjoy anything... keep working on that idea to change this fucking slavery.

Also, why do you even have a credit card? That's not for poor people.

And no, I'm not rich, and I don't have a CC Razz

I have a CC. I only have $500 limit but it's ALWAYS MAXED OUT.
I hate CC. I wish I would have never gotten it. No wonder people get so much in debt, when they got CC with a $10k limit, buy random stuff and can't pay it off!

I would cut them CC with scissors and burn baby burn!

We arent consumers, all we take in the CC is food for home, gasoline and obligatory stuff (phone bill, electricity etc), it all just rises and rises. I revise them all, and its all the obligatory stuff.... it just rises thats the fucking problem. Everything is expensive and now with a tax reform its gonna get WORST.

i would pay off 4 grand... and i would think " man i have 4 grand to play with wtf why arent i buying shit on ebay?" and BOOM i would be maxed out again... never again!

please dont take this rudely as i dont mean it that way but its a surprise to me that CCs are that prevalent in Dominican. interesting...

People use CC a LOT here, just at work almost everyone has around 4 CCs. Funny thing is that Annual interests are 48% HAH!

In my family case, we NEVER pay minimun, we pay FULL, everything we consumed. We've never payed interest, fuck that.

Now im gonna have to pressure my family, ill lose all my money this month.... but from now on, i wont pay the gasoline THEY use, they will have to pay half the food they eat. Only thing they can do is my sis, she will have to fight at work and get the money to pay their share. Im fed up with working my ass off, going to work on foot, eating shit, so i can save up and then still be out of money for myself. I dont wanna do it, but damnit, i think they are living too fucking softly.

Personally i find it really easy to manage CCs, i know ill get X ammount in the 23 day, and i expect to only use the CC to buy still ill pay off the day i get paid. I just didnt expect so many expenses to go in this month...

CCs are fine if you're as responsible adult and pay them off on time. The rewards alone are worth it Smile

I have a CC, only one, with a 1.000 US$ International cap, and some 1.500 US$ National cap. Even if i can have a lot more cap., I am not going to do that. I know my economic behaviour and sometimes is abysmall.

Las time I have gone to the Mall, to buy a simple Tie, i just ended buying the Tie and a new LED TV Razz

And so on... I have the luck to have a nice job here, and receive a 3.000 US$ minimum per month guarantee. That's a lot more than the 385 US$ base salary here.

Yes I know. But the overall life cost in Chile is amazinlgy high. It is even higher than in the USA., to live well i mean.

Even when I travel (not that I travel a lot), I do the math and compare other cities, for example, Berlin, and it is overall, a lot cheaper.
