Workout makes you feel good, I dk why but there is something to it...
Probably because of the release of endorphin or sth like that

But workout is so much more than just losing weight. It relieves stress, makes you fitter, able to do more without getting tired and gives you selfesteem.
But Id just go to the gym and do some running, those workout videos arent some magical mushroom that'll make you fit you have to do the work yourself.
Also the gym is a cool place to meet new people, women etc

I lost 4kg in 1 week by doing nothing different other then being worried as fuck
Went from 108 to 86kg in ~2 years without any workout

Am I the only one here who wants to gain weight?!
I am at ~75kg but I'd like to be close to 80kg.
I'm planning on starting Muay Thai with my friend next month, I am looking forward to it ^^ She said that it's a killer workout ^^ 3 times a week, just what I need
I'll need to increase my protein input tho :\

Doesn't really matter what your weight is, as long as it stays stable. Some are fat, some are skinny, so what?
As long as you can do what you want and you'r not African skinny or a whale, you will be fine. I am a little bit on the skinny side but i've never had any problems in sports. I even used to be rather good at jumping and sprinting. Nowadays, i am good at climbing and alpinism. Some are good because of power, i am good because i have good stamina and i am light. So yeah, i could gain extra power if i ate 6 chickens a day, some eggs and some turkey sandwiches and then go to the fitness. But then i would lose my stamina and light weight. So it all depends what you want to do.
And to drop some weight, it is very easy. I lived together with a roomie in the past and he was gaining a little bit, 2-3-4-5kg/year (but after couple of years ). And he always was whining i was eating like a pig and not eating veggies and he was getting fat and i was not. But i eat small breakfast, lunch and diner and that's about it. Sometimes a little snack (cookies or some chips) in front of the tv, sometimes an apple or an orange. And true, my diner is often pizza, pasta, fries or something relatively unhealthy. But he was eating breakfast, lunch, diner (all relatively healthy), but drinking 2l of coke a day, eating a 'midnight' pizza in his bed, eating half a kg of ice cream in his bed, boozing like hell in the weekend and eating 2-3 burgers during the boozing etc. If you get rid of the excessive food intake and just eat normal, you can eat what you want. Doesn't make much sense to eat crap/vegie food all day long and then spoil it by eating a complete box of ice cream in bed.

Thats so unfair, Ive always had problem with my weight. Need to drop like 5 kg. Wanna trade?
muay thai is very fun and one of the easiest and at the same time strongest martial art styles. Trained it for a few years myself and now im a lethal killing machine, able to crack nuts with my buttocks |
Sure! I'd need some mass Muscle mass that is.
I've always been skinny, in high school I was constantly at 65kg, and when I came to uni I got 10kg over nigt! But now I want to get a bit more muscular (and yes it's partially for my vain gay purposes ), and this muay thai thing sounds interesting
Currently I'm doing stretching every morning for 20-30 minutes, I have 2kg barbells, but that's nothing, it just makes me stay fit, but I don't see any muscles :\

LOL it actually says that? The only way you're gonna lose 1000 calories in an hour is liposuction.

Get some protein power and make protein shakes. It's the quickest solution. You could change your diet to eat more protein rich food too, but that's too much hassle.
And if you want muscles, Muai Tai won't help. That's more endurance and cardio oriented and those don't really grow muscles much. What you want are strength exercises, large weight low repetition. |
Well I am eating more protein rich food lately. Tons of chicken, tuna, low fat fresh cheese, and stuff.
I am planning on getting protein powders, they are not that expensive, and when combined with oatmeal and banana make awesome tasting shake

Nope you're not the only one ..but watch out, aging brings weight gain..and the process is scary fast xD.
I've always been ~75kg too until last year (even after having stopped doing sports) and now I'm magically ~80kg. It's still good since I'm 182cm but the metabolism can be a bitch. Let's hope it doesn't get worse otherwise I'd need to do start that Insanity stuff too

Started running more, and cut down on the midnight ice cream after drinking |
lol! I'm too lazy to start running..and believe me, I've tried. Though I've started playing tennis again after 4 years of inactivity (used to be quite decent in my younger days ), but my wrecked back is like "you've got to be kidding me". Everything should get better with some more training though, since I'm not old yet on paper. (or maybe I'm wrong )

I'm not that tall (176cm) but I look skinny to me So I would like to 'bulk up' just a bit, especially in the torso, and from what I hear I should go to the gym for that
But since I heard that the trainings will be with much push ups and such, I'll concentrate on wide push ups (with hands further apart), so that my pectoral muscles are more involved
I am already doing those, but not much, 30 or so at one go, but no reps (I'm lazy xD)...

Push ups are good, but if you really want to have a super-sexy torso, dumbbells + bench-press are a must. Been there, done that..too bad I lasted less than one month xD

Shouldn't be hard then, combine some hated running with the workout and you're set. Though times are changing, love handles are sexy!

Well, I did Fit Test today and well at least I managed to do each excercise for roughly 30 seconds out of a minute, and there were 9 of them total ...but damn, they really make you work. I feel like tomorrow I won't be able to get out of the bed \p/
Hey, gotta start somewhere
And 3 weeks with no alcohol ><, especially beer, I hope to get rid of my beer belly to some extent
