Hello there!

Got a RGH JTAG and just updated to FSD 3.0. As i am still a bit on a newb on these things I have a question.

My dash launch looks as follows in the boot area

; example entry
; Default = Hdd:\FreeStyle\default.xex
[QuickLaunchButtons]
BUT_A = Hdd:\FreeStyle\default.xex
BUT_B =
BUT_X =
BUT_Y =
Start =
Back =
LBump =
; Default is what loads when you hold no buttons
; leave this blank if you want NXE as default
Default = Hdd:\fsd_3\default.xex

I want FSD 3.0 to boot as standard so that's OK above (my fsd is in the fsd_3 folder). Now to my question. When this got installed by another guy and I pressed "A" I was taken to NXE instead. The above path does not lead anywhere though (Hdd:\FreeStyle\default.xex) as that folder is no longer on my xbox. What should I put in there instead? Should there be a standard "default.xex" belonging to the NXE that I have somehow accidentally removed?

Thanks alot for your help Smile

You should put ' Hdd:\fsd_3\default.xex ' there instead.

This section:
Quote:
; Default is what loads when you hold no buttons
; leave this blank if you want NXE as default
Default = Hdd:\fsd_3\default.xex

That you've put it in, is just an example, so doesn't actually do anything. But at the top Default, this is where you want to guide it to where your FSD3 xex is.

Thanks for the reply, but the default part is where I put the FSD 3 path (look at the very bottom, there is the default path in my first post). I don't have problems booting that - it's setting a proper shortcut for booting straight into NXE by pressing A I need help.
