Basically what the title says.
I have never had luck in life.
Really. I can't remember when I had luck in life. Every part of it was a struggle.
From being forced to move from my birth place, to stupid war, financial problems that my family is battling for over 20 years. And the fact that my sister and my mom are secretly hating me for being gay...
I really don't know what I have done to deserve it. I really don't. And I'm sick of it.
All my life I've been a good guy. And that didn't get me anywhere. I've had to work hard for everything I have.
And now, with this screwed up life I have, I lost the chance to be with one guy I really like.
And it's so freaking hard finding someone you like, that is nice, good, has some issues, but hell we all do! And because my life is a mess, because I still live with my parents who always need to know everything I do, I won't have the chance to be with him...
And it's so unfair! Why can't I be happy?

Yeah, but I feel that I am missing on life while everyone around me are having the time of their life...
I don't remember the last time I was this depressed. And I have important exam next week... I just hope that some of the feeling will pass...
Oh, I dream about winning the lottery all the time. Life would be so much easier then. But with the odds against me (1:39 million) I don't put much hope onto it...

I do have such thoughts sometimes, then I talk more with friends and it turns out they hardly have any luck with love/life at all. Some friends are getting rejected, some desperately need a job, some have a combo of both those things. No one has it great if you look closely.
Sure, knowing that everyone else's life sucks does not help you at all, but it's something!  |
Yeah, but it sucks so much, when all of that is at the tip of your fingertips and you cannot reach it because of obstacles in your life.

It took me until I was 34 to meet my wife, things never go to plan.. Sit back enjoy the ride, sometimes the lows are really bad, but fight through stay strong and good times will come.
Are you sure your mum and sister hate that you are gay? I have a son, if he happened to be gay I couldn't give a damn, he's my son and I love him unconditionally.
There is no advice when you feel like you do, people always said to me times a healer, well fuck off that shit! But they are right. Pick urself up, dust off and get stronger.

A part of me know things will get better, but there is a part of me that really feels like shit...
I guess I need to give it some time...
And yeah, I'm sure they resent me for being gay. My mom thinks that somehow she failed as a parent, and my sister was always homophobic... But yesterday she said something that made that evident...
I need to focus, pass that exam and try to find some kind of job. Nothing fancy, just something that will give me some kind of money to get by...

I wanna be boring and say everyone has some kind of problem, and I think its a show of character how we choose to tackle that problem. Id like to think its destiny but call it what you want, if you can fight it and draw strenght from it you'll gain that much more appreciation for life and learn not to take anything for granted when life seems to go on track.
I've stuttered most my life and have had a battle like no other, but slowly im gaining more and more confidence and now im able to talk with alot better self esteem and not mind so much if I get stuck on some words now and again.
also dont listen to those who say you have a good life and dont complain because there are people who have it alot worse. Its a personal struggle, everyone has problems and its not good to turn on a blind eye and refuse to deal with those problems.
Things will get better, but even if they dont you can learn how to deal with it.
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

Absolutely not. If you feel she hates you, then there is something terribly wrong. And you need to deal with it. Family first, don't even think about the money. Money got nothing to do with this. I don't know your sister, but i have a hunch she might be harder to deal with.

But leaving isn't always an immediate option, and would probably do more harm than good for dingo right now i'm guessing. My advice is sit tight focus on your exam/s you've come this far now buddy shit will get better for sure. And don't stop being yourself a nice guy just because others aren't. Shame your family feel that way about you, but hey you can't choose your family but you can your friends!
