I was under the impression that only a cam version was out. So I haven't gotten interested in getting it. Is it subtle quality? I heard it does come with English subtitles intergraded into the movie...
The trailer does look amazing and Stephen Chow is great.
Haven’t seen a decent kung fu movie in months On that website it only shows Eurasian release dates. So I’m guessing a North American release would be due next year/or later this year?
Shaolin Soccer – according to imdb - was done in 2001 and released on 2nd April 2004 in North America – mainly USA (Limited)…
Hero was done in 2002 and came out last year in N/A.
-Edit (phoney)
USA 18 March 2005 (limited)
Not that long of a wait It’s a shame they will most-likely dub it for the pg13 audience like they did with shaolin soccer

The plot sounds pretty good. Weird how I haven't noticed this one before as It's 7.6/10 on IMDB. Remember that the real title is "Gong fu" Sounds like It's only a dvd release (no cinema)?

This is movie is hilarious - I recommend it to anyone who was initially skeptical. I'd never seen any Stephen Chow before this but I'll definately keep my eyes open for in the future.
It just such an entertaining film, funny, action packed, visually exciting and even has a romantic thread thrown in for good measure.
Good stuff!

I hated it. I was bored by the 10th minute. Sure some bits were funny but the "cartoon-legs" and the over extravagent wife person annoyed me. If the film didnt have the typical bad-cgi effects then I woulda liked it but because of this alone it pissed me off

Yeah some people don't like it because it's subtitled, and not westernized enough.
I really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone.

Why? you dont think he's good at what he does? Rush hour is 1 + 2 are some my fav films like that and shanghai noon / knights are also good to watch. I wouldn't say he's my fav. but he's certainly good at what he does

What has this got to do with Kung Fu Hustle?

i quiet like jackie chan, still i think that his earlier films where better than his later ones, esp like meals on wheels, drunken master and the police story series.
looks like there will be no rush hour 3 for a while until chris rock drop his demands to have controll over certain aspects of the film.
