Fuck everything about them. My junior high reunion is coming up and I keep getting calls and messages from everyone. Can't they understand from my lack of response and disinterest that I don't want to go?
Do I have to give it in writing?
Why can't some people understand I just don't want to see them?
Fuck.

Ah, I had my reunion few months ago. Nobody really changed in 5 years, still, I love how they all stayed the same: Oh, how are you, I haven't seen you in 5 years. We should totally go on a coffee sometimes...
Aaand that will never happen. If we haven't been on coffees in the previous 5 years, we won't be going in the next 5 years...
I hate this fake courtesy...

Had one, almost everyone from the class came. Good excuse to get drunk, not that we need it. All the people I was close with I remained close out of school anyway, but it never hurts to hang with some "new" people.
If you don't want to go tell them you don't want to go, I don't see what the big fuss is about.

This fake courtesy is exactly what I'm trying to get rid of.
In the mean time, the girl organizing everything called me and I answered, told her I couldn't come because I have work that day and I mainly don't really want to, as I'd rather come home to a hot dinner and my girl, as opposed to going in to this, all tired and out of fucks to give.

Yea, never got an invite, or even notified of any of mine...but didnt care
Cant see the point in going to a place to hang out with a lot of people I didn't like talking to 20 years ago...to have them want to 'chit chat' now.
Anyone in high school I liked talking to I still do as real friends...why I need to see all the people I didn't know well enough to see again after we left?
I've avoided them for 20 years, why break the streak now?

We've stopped doing these kind of things since nobody cared. I see most of the old and sometimes hated fellas on weekly basis anyway so..well there's no need to inflict ourselves even more pain
