Let's see, now on the apps side, because W7.5 marketplace is a joke

ohh and btw

The video player in Windows Phone 8 has greatly improved codec support compared to WP7.5. Now it does recognize pretty much every Xvid, DivX and MP4 videos up to 1080p resolution. The few things it won't play are MKV files and videos using the AC3 audio codec

but Zune Software is still shit.
usb on the go, no bluetooth transfers, still few years behind in a development, it might have smoothest interface yet, but with missing basic feature, is just a no-no

Meh...Wouldn't mind trying new Nokia Lumia phones but they probably will be expensive.

lol - so 95% of my videos won`t - errr wouldn`t work on this...

I dpn`t think windows phone is bad - for many users - but for me it is. No root/jailbreak/whateveryoumightcallit for most devices (at least not without much of a hazzle) -> bad!
Even if there would be -> not many developers right now.
I`d never use an Iphone without jailbreak, i`d never use android that could not be rooted and sideload apps. Not because I want to pirate all my shit (I don`t - not all of it), but many great things wouldn`t be possible without breaking out of the cage an OS without root imprisons us in.

I am desperated to change my Nokia Lumia running old Windows Phone. But I won't atm, because good alternatives are expensive here.

The desperation lies because I can't open some documents on Windows Phone. (documents attached to emails, sent by goverment institutions, part of my work).
