I still do not understand the point of this thread. I can create one for every single manufacturer out there and find some YT vids.

I do not care about brands, the company is irrelevant to me. I just don't see the point in linking to one review and creating a thread around it. I thought your first point was valid, hence the "why a separate thread" comment snce it seems to be perfectly fine in the Apple thread. Just wondering, it's your thread.

I have to agree.
While the S3 hardware is somehwat impressive, the phone has a 95% rate of having both the touchscreen and the display when dropped from a height of 1.5m on solid pavement.
Sometimes the height may be even lower, as exemplified by the accident my brother in law had.
However, I still hold the Galaxy S2 in high regards, especially when paired with a custom ROM, CM9 or CM10 or whatelseisoutthere.
After recent happenings, I'm thinking of moving towards HTC, although I'd rather keep my Nexus for a little while longer.
I hate Apple because of their policies, not because of their products, which from a personal and professional point of view (I work with iPhones and iPads) are pretty great, technically speaking.

I'm sorry but Samsung makes some of the most bullshit phones around. Nexus, Charge, Epic etc, all fucking garbage. They use impressive specs but their radio hardware is absolute garbage and they've still not rectified the issues. I have the charge, I know 3 people with the nexus and like 4 people with the epic. We all have the same issue with data constantly dropping randomly, and mostly dropping the moment we want to use it. Crappy wifi, constantly dropping calls.
I'll never buy another Samsung phone again. Which is sad because they have some of the best screens around.

Samsung is my fav tech company! I hope one day I become a slave to their products as I have come to be enslaved by apple's iPhone. I already only buy Samsung TVs and monitors

Oh don't get me wrong, they're awesome in almost every other department. LG and Samsung make my favorite TV's and monitors. I love the Samsung spinpoint hard drives.
