man, my dick´s becoming bigger and bigger right now, in fact it nearly seems to reach heaven heights.... because Dark Suns new album really kick ass!! I can´t remove the disc from my player. If you like dark, progressive and melancholic Metal this is a MUST leech
Unfortunately the only online source so far seems to be the Esel/ Emule delivering a promo version. Official release date is set to 28.02 in Germany (don´t know if it´ll simultaneously be available around the world on that date) Apropos Esel -> Eselgesi, if I remember correct you´r an Opeth fan, right? This one will please you very much, i promise.
Everyone who likes Opeth and Anathema should also have a look at their previous album "Swanlike".
RATE 10/10 ! This is a real 2005 highlight. Metalheads, you have to check them out
Nun, so soll es denn sein!
Reiche mir Schwert und Wein,
reiche mir Panzer und Gebein!
Zerschmettern will ich mit Hass!

mmmh, is there something like german death metal?
i d rather classify it as progressive death metal, whereas death only counts for the first cd. The new one has less growls and more clean singing making it something like progressive emotional dark metal or something...

hm, don't know "Tool" but i'll surely give them a try- If you like growls i'd advise you to take a close look at "SwanlikE"- It's very melodic and kind of desperate- imagine this:you see the phantastical beauty of nature and on the other hand its underlied brutality which is not of less purity than the beauty itself, everything depends on everything. No beauty without the downfall of the old and thus the creation of the basics of new life. There's the human mind trying to get a place called home, a place to be secure and in the end there will be NO TIME TO REST somewhere in something like pEace. If this desperate emotion (hope i described it well) is dark enough for you, SwanlikE will please you very much It opens your eyes to the diamond of perfection and the imperfection we always try to handle with understanding, tolerance, love, trust and of course distrust, hate, ignorance and mercylessness. There are very few bands who are able to describe this situation by music, but dark suns are one of them for me
