Have not played them all yet, but Syder Arcade is just superb! Have not played a better indie shmup in a long time. Ichi, Muffin Knight and Dino Run SE are also fun and well made games. I felt the same way as you about the samurai game, weak gameplay, but I loved the pixel shaded art. This is definitely one of the better packs in a long time.
