Probably not. Not sure how these guys could fail so badly with the camera, I mean they could have just taken a single look at e5 brigade or 7.62mm to see how awfully inferior their camera is ( heck even most of the combat is way inferior)

I really enjoyed JA:BiA despite many other people. Played it for around 50 hours i think.

I'm not flaming, I'm being honest and real.
The game is fun, to a certain degree, even with it's many bugs and flaws.
It is however and unfinished product that got chopped to bits because who knows why.
Otherwise I wouldn't have bought BiA here (for well, less than half price but still bought it).

I bought it too. And like i said i found it pretty good with some mods. The patch they released, also fixed most of the annoying things. Like the militia getting owned all the time.

I wouldn't say fixed most annoying bugs but yeah, they fixed some bugs, that however shouldn't even been there in the first place.
For example, camo does not work for squat. Enemies now aren't only still fully retarded but also cheat (my sniper from max distance gets owned by random enemy with an SMG). There are still plenty of other bugs that aren't fixed (and probably won't get fixed either) but you are right, the game is somewhat fun (and for 199SEK I thought it was worth it).

How's the camera controls? Better or still utterly shite?

Well, so far it seems like it's the same game but with new mercs, items and larger maps.
As far as I know there are no game-play fixes or any core mechanics fixes (I.e camo still being broken etc.)

I was at least hoping for the devs to keep trying to fix their game before they try to push their virtual crack on us. Sad

Well so far it is exactly like the patched BiA. But sometimes it's worse..
The own AI for example pretty often gets stuck in each other when they run past each other.

But what i found positive is that the milita now levels up over time, and you can sell stuff from the zone inventory. Don't know if it was in BiA with the patch, because i finished the game two days before the patch Very Happy

I think that most of the major fixes were shelled in 1.13 (now to 1.13g).

I played with the Blue Dawn mod. But after the latest patch it seems to be broken.
The quasi sequel to the mod is Combat Evolved:

The Bear Pit should have a post with a complete list of mods for JABIA.

Code:

Also make sure you pay a visit at nodvd to grab the 1.13g crack, if you don't want to run it through steam.
