open 24/7, special price for a fellow humper xD
Have a nice holiday! Funnily enough, I've never visited neither Milano nor Venice, but I 'll do it sooner or later.

Hehe that would be awesome but unfortunately I don't think it will be possible , I have some stuff to do here at the Uni since they've been closed for two weeks. Don't forget to bring a portable fridge with you, there are 40+°C this week.

Welcome to Italy xD
It's a pity that you found the hottest week of the year, the trip would have been much more enjoyable with "normal" temperatures. Yesterday tourists were even taking a bath in a fountain in the middle of Siena, go figure.

Firenze is awesome. Saw the tombs of Michelangelo, Dante, Machiavelli, and Galilei. The fact that Galilei's tomb was in a church was so reeking of irony that I almost burst out laughing. At least I would have if it wasn't so freakin beautiful (same with the others, statues and everything). Also saw the David of Michelangelo, it was surprisingly huge and detailed. Apart from that, it was a usual siteseeing day, a cathedral, a tower, etc. And heat. Oh, the heat...

Nice! Glad that you liked it . Everything is covered by churches in Florence, most of them are deconsecrated but still, it's quite impressive. Ponte Vecchio and Piazzale Michelangelo are great places too.
