A yellow 1978 Fiesta 1300 Sport which was about 10 or 11 years old when I bought it. I still remember the reg no to this day OEJ 384S I paid £800 for it and it was a piece of s**t. I only had it about a week - 10 days when a mate was dabbling with me, cut me up and I crashed, while I saw him recently and we laughed about it. I didn't have use of the car again for a couple of months when it was being repaired.
my first car ever was a Nissan Primera, i bought it with 250k on the counter. Kinda like this one in the picture.
I drove it for ~ 5 years, never had any breakdown or problems with it. It just gradually died... First my steering enhancement (whatever it is called) died, then my window electronics died, then my trunk hydraulics died (so i couldn't open the trunk anymore...), interior lights died etc. But the mechanics kept working. Eventually it kept passing the yearly controls, but with a lot of yellow cards 'fix it next year'. But after some years, i got a red card. I had 320k on the counter, so still drove 70k in 5 years with it
Ow yeah, btw, now i have a new Toyota Aygo. Everybody always ridiculing me with it, but it drinks 5l/100k, never breaks down and i can park anywhere anytime in the city center. And it can carry 3 people with full luggage to the Swiss Alps, so it perfectly suits my needs.
my first was also a fiesta mark 1 (had the mark 2 and mark 3 afterwards as well, all used between 6 and 12 years old, when i got them). It looked kinda like this:
Will most likely replace it in the next couple of months because going up into the Ardennes last weekend was not fun with its 75 BHP
It's also starting to show its age a bit, one of the shafts started squeaking after my trip. Need to look at that tonight and hope it's not on its last legs because despite being nearly 12 years old it's still worth over 3 grand
My first car, only $500! Creme-coloured 1979 Chrysler Cordoba!
Lasted less than 6 months unfortunately, but replaced with a much newer ~1986 Oldsmobile Delta '88 which lasted a couple years at least (I think that one was closer to $700)...
Drove both of those before uni (1996-1998ish), only thing I could afford since my parents weren't paying for it.

My first was also a 206, with a mighty (shitty) 1.0L 70hp engine with zero torque I think they were only sold here. Had no hydraulic steering, no airbags, no abs, no power windows, no nothing... I liked it though.
I'm guessing yours is the 1.4L? Only 5hp difference but much better to drive...
Loved that car. Shared with my sister until very recently when she got a 206+ and I got a 307 facelift (which I don't drive because reasons, I got it as a gift from my brother in law when Kodak' auto park was sold. But I can't drive it, it's a 2.0 140 BHP beast which consumes quite a lot.).

Isn't that picture of a GTI or maybe a Quicksilver, and not a 75BHP model?
I did say it wasn't my actual car, was too lazy to find the URL to the pictures I made
That's a GT, which is a Quicksilver with the ugly ass fat lip bumper.

Yep, 1.4L 8v, a Gentry in fact (most luxurious edition for 2000). Airbags, hydraulic steering, electric windows, air conditioning - only thing it doesn't have is ABS
