Encoded from the remastered Lowry Digital processed print.

I've seen it and it looks AMAZING, like it never looked before (although the color timing is a little off, but that might be the new personal preference of Cameron).

Screenshots don't do it justice.

Thank me later.

Huge difference! Wonder if there is a good Rambo release, cause I'd prefer watching this to Terminator 1 Very Happy

I snagged the 720p version of this.. but yeah... it's fantastic! Still a bit too "noisy" for my ideal taste, though that seems to be the way for nonHD>HD resamples Sad

20GB but very nice quality Smile

Now, as I have seen it I want to rewatch the other ones. Are there any plans for remastered version of Terminator 2 ?

get the japanese HDDVD rip if you can still find it , best one out there ( but thats a whole discussion on its own )

if you arent super picky about DNR , the skynet edition is the way to go.

i was wary of picking up this release because it wasnt tagged as remastered :/ i mean it seemed odd that this would show up now that the remastered is out, but it wouldnt have been the first time old sources got re-released by groups that didnt know better (or didnt care Sad)

but honestly, now that i look at that picture... and this and t2 are such classics... fuck i hope they do a really nice collectors blu-ray set like they did for alien quadrilogy... id buy that, these films are worth it. hell, id even 'allow' t3 to be part of a trilogy set, because i still had fun with that movie.

t4 can fuck off though.

I watched this last night and its a great upgrade. The teal colour timing and redone gun shot sound effects (arnies 45 long slide only I think?) are a little disappointing. But its still much better

Yeah, I completely agree with you azzman .. that .45 sound was just Crying or Very sad The rest was fantastic though, it takes a while getting used to the colour but it really did improve the film a great deal.
