and I don't want to do anything. or invite anyone. family wants to come chill at my house. I don't want to. just want to sit and do nothing. ... buy a bench and put it on the balcony and have a smoke. Or do something that at all doesn't require anything on my part. And there's nothing to watch. Nothing to do. it's so hot out.  Fuuuuuu.

What I say is you have the choice to do what you want, have who you want where and when regarding the home that you live in.. Just do it you will feel better, people always expect others to do this or that, just fucking make what you want happen,,, happen?
Tell people, sorry I want a quiet few days whatever lets make it some other time...

This is the time of year you need to get physically active. Us Canadians hibernate for half the year, so get off your ass and do something. 
Ive been wake surfing about every second day. The more i get active; The more active i want to be. Strange how that works.

nubs... it's my birthday... and it's been a sort of depressing week. so i don't want to see anyone, do anything, maybe just spend time with my gf... but other than that... days like these suck. pick up phone calls. respond to e-mails. you're stuck in this... you have to be constantly  when you pick up the phone. And wtf... ugh... told everyone i'm working late. so no surprising visits while im lazing at home \o/

I feel your apathy bro.
It happens to me as well, only sometimes around the end of year festivities. It's real shit to deal with and to be honest, it's always been a point of depression for me, as I can't even stand dealing with those close to me, not to mention paying attention to those which are really close to me.

Yeah it's draining. Really mentally and physically draining. I can't stand it most of the time. But luckily most of the time them peoples call you early in the day so if you're 100% lucky, you won't have anyone bothering you for the rest of the day. \o/

I'm the same mate, I hate celebrating my birthday.. most of the time I just want to chill out with my missus, go have a bite to eat, watch a movie, cuddle up... just chill. Everyone else is always all "Oh you have to celebrate!! You have to have a huge party and have lots of people around!"
