That is kinda undone here. Most universities/colleges have the option to redo the exams right after summer vacation, so you can go on with the program (if you pass the tests of course). Any other institution that can offer you something better?

I wish such a system would exist in US. You fail an exam, or two and you are semester behind. You need to take that subject again NEXT semester.
And most of classes need some kind of pre-requisite before taking "more advenced course" Which is total useless shit. I'm jelly of my Polish friends who even if they fail, they make it up around in July or September, or if you fail those twice, you have to pay around 200zl to take another one..but you still have a chance...
This is what screwed me over and have to take extra semester. I failed Calculus 3, without it I cannot take differential equations course and without differential equations course, i cannot take more advanced engineering courses..

My sister has the same problem. She has one exam to solve and get her BA, but she has to retake the same course and pass it in the summer next year! Retarded because she already listened to that course and she needs only to pass that exam and she has BA, plus she already passed tons of stuff from higher years (I think that's the +2 years)...
That's what I love about my uni. There's no 3+2 shit, only 5+0  And if you don't pass the class from summer semester in the summer or in the fall you can try and pass it once in the November, and then in January ^^
As much as the organization and bureaucracy at the uni sucks it has its merits

Passed the exam today, but i still need to go get my final grade in about a week. There is a chance i might have to take another smaller test to pass the class but if i managed to pass the exam that should be easy peasy.
