Just because you have ads, you aren't guaranteed a certain amount of money per month... and do they REALLY bother people that much when you can use a free plugin in any decent browser to turn them off?

To top it off:

Quote:
This is for a period of 1 year. From January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013. We will run the fundraiser again, around this time next year.

So if they get a million or more this year, they will ask for more the next?

It seems like they are abusing it... somehow... even if they are adding more content to replace the ads

I don't see how it is abusing anything.

They put the idea up there, if people want it they will pay, if not they wont.

I think Kickstarter is fucking awesome.

Welcome to the real world Interinactive, EVERYONE overcharges if they can, people, businesses and corporations.

I don't blame them for doing so, after all they get paid whatever people are willing to pay them which is what Kickstarter is about.

Thank you for agreeing that they do seem to be overcharging

But no, not everyone does this, I certainly wouldn't don't with my own business

Yes you do, or you wouldn't be making any money.

So when I say to clients; "tell me your budget and I'll work to that" before I go above and beyond, I'm overcharging them? Laughing

Every time you ask for more money than you spent you are overcharging. Everyone out there are looking to make profit, which is my point. Unless you're a communist that's a good thing.

Also, there is no such thing as "too much", if you have customers you can charge whatever the hell you feel like.
