Okay, my 4850 died during cleanup, I accidentally sat down on it .
I'm now using my onboard HD3200, but it's.. a pain in the ass. I got 250 romanian currency atm (won't be paying some bills lol), that's like 55,5 euros. I can get either a GTX260 216sp from EVGA, the SuperClocked edition, or a Gigabyte GTS450. So... which one? Coming from experience, not benchmarks, I don't wanna do a stupid thing right now, I need to hold on to this videocard for an year or so, won't be doing another upgrade due to some other stuff I got planned.

Or I could get a HD5670, if that's better than those two, for a better price.

The GTX 260 is the fastest out of those.

55€..hmm it's a challenge.
But what about some used cards? The ones that you mentioned aren't very good for gaming :S

For 500 RON you can get a 560SE.
Dunno how this helps but I'm just throwing it out there, I'm REALLY satisfied with it.

Well, atm, I'm not interested in DX11 capabilities, I'm interested in a cheap videocard that can run pretty much all the games at least at medium details, in DX9 or DX10 tops. I'm not a graphics whore, I can deal with that.

@Claude: I can't stretch out for more, I know the prices for that are kinda low, but now I got other stuff on my mind, and my paycheck ain't helping. I was planning an upgrade this fall, but it ain't possible, so next year I'll do a full revamp on my system, I'll just keep my case and PSU.

Haahahaha
The card seems steady, running Max Payne 3 since I posted, on mostly high settings at 1280x1024.
I'm still considering a replacement, even if I fixed it, it might be just for the moment. I think I'm gonna put it on sale somewhere. So, the "upgrade" still stands.
I'm starting to consider a GTS450 more, due to less power consumption and less noise coming from the cooler. I'm currently using a Rasurbo 550W PSU, I had to give the Seasonic one to my gf, she got all sorts of power outtages and problems in her neighbourhood and that PSU is a lot more solid than the ones she had 'til now (4 PSUs broken due to unstable power).

Sorry for the RO everyone, it's just that I feel more comfortable suggesting things in my native language as opposed to English.

Am gasit un GTS450 pe CG la 240 RON. Sau un HD5750, incerc sa vad daca il scot la un 260 RON.

Okay, so it seems I got a good deal on a GTX260 Superclocked from EVGA, barely used, only 250 RON~55.5 euros. Should I go for it?
