You need to open an account for that region. Since you won't be able to use your current region CC, you'll have to fund the account with iTunes cards instead.

Hmm, I'm not actually sure what you mean. You can download the .IPA from most any site such as Sinfuliphone or Heaven iPhone, but if you want to legally acquire stuff you need an iTunes account from that region .. which will then simply download the app to your iTunes library as normal. If you acquire the .IPA from elsewhere, just double-click to install it to your iTunes library.

The game is free, but only released in Canada.

EDIT: Meaning, I doubt any of those sites will bother picking it up.

Ah.. then the same applies, either the legal route (Canadian iTunes account) or grabbing the .IPA from a pirate site if/when it's uploaded. What's the name of the game?

Oh, no.., you're good to go. IPAs and games themselves aren't "usually" region restricted, it will install and play just fine. Some online games might have IP restrictions, but I've not seen any myself, it's really only iTunes itself that won't let you buy/DL it.

Seems fun so far. I like that they hate "pay to win", even though there is IAP in this game, seems like it's not super required at all.

I've long since stopped caring about "pay to win", ever since I installed IAPCracker (or IAPUnlocker, both do the same job) -- about 90% of all games I try now have free IAP, heh.

To be perfectly honest mate, I have a hard time remembering which one I HAVE! Hehe, they're both almost identical and I'm also pretty sure they're both superseded by an even better app... but sadly I can never remember the name, so I haven't tried it Sad

To sum it up in a nutshell, IAPFree intercepts the in-app purchase calls and basically tells the app that the purchase was successful without it actually going anywhere. This works for 90% of the games, but some - usually online games - also require an acknowledgement receipt from Apple before crediting you whatever it is you "bought" .. and since this doesn't come, the purchase fails. Normally you'll either get an error saying "purchase failed" or it will appear to work and just not do anything. This is also means you can't legitimately purchase anything either ... so if you actually DO want to buy something properly, you have to disable IAPFree (you can do it via SBSettings as a toggle, saves having to uninstall/reinstall)

You'll know if IAPFree is working because when you try to buy something, you won't be asked to sign into Apple. If you ARE asked; STOP! That's obviously not working Wink

This doesn't intercept normal downloading from the app store right?

Naw, it doesn't interfere with anything outside of in-app purchases ... but I'll save you one worry; IAPCracker doesn't work on RAD Soldiers. You get the "ka-ching" sound and no error message... but you don't actually get any items. I'm going to remove that and try IAPFree instead, when Cydia finally finishes updating.

Hahahaha, that's what I did when I first got it installed Very Happy Oh and bonus result for IAPFree in comparison to IAPCracker; Let's Golf 2/3 now work for getting free in-app stuff Very Happy
